It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chance D Mason (Salina, Utah), born in Provo, Utah, who passed away on October 24, 2024, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Chance is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Chance's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his father Dennis G. Mason; and his brother Scott Mason. He is survived by: his mother Deanna Joyce Mason; his significant other Shasta Shurtleff; his sisters, Angie Merchant and Heather Torgerson (Rick); and his sister-in-law Cinda Mason. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Salina Stake Center (98 W 400 N, Salina, UT 84654). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
