He was predeceased by: his mother Carla Jean Thompson; his grandparents, Carlos Almon Thompson, Earl Blaine Gardner, Martin Sydney Cox and Lois Mary Cox; and his brothers, Darrel Glenn Young, Gary Blaine Gardner and Westley Guy Gardner.

He is survived by: his father Dennis Earl Gardner (Venna); his wife Jennifer Hurst Gardner; his children, Tyden Earl Gardner and Jenakah Rain Gardner; and his siblings, Danny Young, Russell Gardner (Vanessa), Stephen Gardner, Glynn Young, Shadahd Young and Tiffanie Ainge (Brady). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
