He is survived by: his former wife Sharon Shepherd; his wife Ruth LaRene Braithwaite; his children, Michael Braithwaite (Teri), Chad Braithwaite (Debbie) of Spanish Fork, Stacy James (Kyle Allman) of Springville, Tammy McKenzie (Ralph) of Spanish Fork and Nickie Cole (Randy Hanks) of Salem; his stepchildren, Greg Neal of Elmwood Park, NJ, RaLene Fox of Chattanooga, TN, MarLene Clayson (Kent) and Virginia Smith (Derrick) of Spanish Fork; and his siblings, Tim Braithwaite (Ann) and Janice Gull (Robert) of Spanish Fork. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, and 38 great-grandchildren.
