She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Austin and Opal Lillian Hansen Brereton; her siblings, Glade Brereton, Grant Brereton (Donna), Norman Brereton, Sherilyn Smith (Richard) and Karma Brereton; and her great grandchild Daniel Cope.
She is survived by: her husband Vern; her children, Anita and Thyrol; her siblings, Garn, Ronald and Karen; her daughters, Marilyn Cope (Val) and Sandra Bastian (Terry); and her parents-in-law, Garn Brereton, Ronald Brereton (Shirley), Belva Brereton and Karen Brereton. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren.
