He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leroy Barney and Alice Sorene Youd Barney; his former wife Margaret Wheeler; his siblings, Ila Hunter (Shirl), Gale J Barney (Luwana) and Youd LeRoy Barney (Isabel); and his grandson Kelly Dean Barney Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Gwen; and his children, Sheila Barney, Clark R Barney (Catherine), Kelly Dean Barney (Monteria), Scott Johnson Barney (Laurie) and Alison Beacham (Bill). He is also survived by his seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
