He was predeceased by: his significant other Lila Crist; his siblings, Obed, Vicky, Ascension and Emily; his children, William, Cindy and Sherrie; and his grandchildren, Jason, Daniel and Anna.

He is survived by: his children, Donna Garrett, Shane Archuleta (Manadi) and Diana Archuleta-Stearman; and his siblings, Amos Archuleta, Mark Archuleta (Orcelia), Alfonso Rodriguez, Loyda Kyremes (Rafael) and Priscilla Sanchez (Juan). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
