He is survived by: his significant other Elaine Weidemeier; his children, Melinda Greenwood, James Hurst (Debra), Kathy Cosby (Dennis), Kent Hurst (Elaine), Todd Hurst (Toni), JoAnna Hall (Randy), Laura Caler (Ben) and Jason Hurst (Paige); his sister Dorothy Merrell; and his sister-in-law Tish Carlson. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
