It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William LaFonzo Zollinger of Saint George, Utah, born in Logan, Utah, who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, LaFonzo Zollinger and Camille Zollinger; his brothers-in-law, Dean Jeffs and Roland Smith; and his stepson James Merlin Sullivan.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Taylor Sullivan; his children, Thor Zollinger (Susan), Eric Zollinger (Shauna), John Zollinger (Mindy), Leslie Amsden (Keith), Jeffrey Zollinger (Eliza) and David Zollinger (Cristina); his siblings, Diane Smith, Darnell Jeffs, Richard Zollinger (Janice) and Blaine Zollinger (Chloe); and his daughter-in-law Pam Sullivan. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and step-grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. James Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1095 St James Ln, St. George, UT 84790). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tonaquint Cemetery (1777 S Dixie Dr, St. George, UT 84770). A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at the same location.
