With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thales Alfred Derrick of Saint George, Utah, born in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on October 17, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thales Matthew Derrick and Harriett Ann Clark; his son David Thales Derrick (Kristen); his wife Willa Nita Derrick (Brooks); and his children, Daniel Derrick (Madelyn), Dennis Derrick (Cyndi), Dana Moody (Russ) and Douglas Derrick (Carrie). He was also cherished by twenty-three grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
