With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rear Admiral William E. Newman in Saint George, Utah, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 4, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Newman and Florence V. Newman. He is survived by: his wife Susan Kingsbury Newman of Ivins, Utah; his children, Elizabeth Newman, Joseph Newman, David Newman and Matt Newman; his grandsons, Tanner of Ventura, California and Mason Bilby of Ventura, California; and his siblings, Robert Newman of Vernon Hills, Illinois and Barbara Pigott.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be sent to the Navy Marine Relief Society.
