Though Nelson may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nelson touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Santos Prospero Romero Cubias. He is survived by: his mother Maria E Barahona; and his siblings, Hugo Franklin Cubias (Ruth Solano), Jimmy D Cubias, Carlina Cubias-Garcia (Ernesto Garcia) and Nadia Y Gonzalez-Crawford (Ryan Durkin).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Metcalf Mortuary (288 W St George Blvd, St. George, UT 84770). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Tonaquint Cemetery (1777 S Dixie Dr, St. George, UT 84770).
