He was predeceased by: his parents, George Merlin and Hilda Williams Dutson; and his sons, Jonathan and Steven. He is survived by: his siblings, Newman, Zenos, Nada, Azora and Laurali; and his children, JVar, Terrel, Elizabeth, Keith, Kirk, Derek, Marla, Merlin, Julena, Lars, Charise, Tina, Trecia, Nada, Deanna, George and Rhonda. He is also survived by grandchildren (137), great-grandchildren (107), and great-great-grandchildren.
