She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Ephraim Anderson and Consuela Naomi Hardy; her sister Myrle; her stepmother Maggie (Howard Walker Johnston); her son Kenneth Alan Johnston; and her great grandchild Analise Marie Nielsen.

She is survived by: her children, Howard Ronald Johnston (Shelly) and Carol Connie Lamb (Brian); her sister Myrna Evelyn (David); her sister-in-law Marlene Pauley; and her husband Howard Walker Johnston. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
