With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Olson of Saint George, Utah, born in Ogden, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 7, 2025 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Baur and Leatha Hansen Baur; and her siblings, Sharon Allen, Clair Baur (Navajo), Geraldine and Merlinda.
She is survived by: her children, Cari Prisbrey (Warren) and Rob Cole (Audrey); her stepchildren, Kelly Olson, Michelle Sparks (Jill) and Monica Mehr; her sons, Tom Baur (Wendy) and Mike Mortenson (Desiree); her grandchildren, Richard of Kearstin, R. J., Matthew (Fiona), Connor and Sully; her great grandchildren, Zarren and Zaydee; her siblings, Gary Baur (Nancy) and Linda Poulter (Jerry); her brother-in-law Larry Allen (Mary); and her granddaughter Carli. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Cotton Acres Ward Chapel (2434 E Riverside Dr, St. George, UT 84790). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the Central City Cemetery.
