He was predeceased by: his parents, Brigham W. Thorpe and Phyllis Halverson; his wife Peggy; and his son Brett. He is survived by: his brother Steve Thorpe; his daughters, Allison Ward (Warren), Susan and Tracy (Wade); and his daughter-in-law Jeannie. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
