She was predeceased by: her parents, Archibald Gardner and Mary Estella Toland; her siblings, Nada Joy, Hal, Dahl and Emilyn; her husband Dee Carling Astle; and her daughter Carolyn [Chuck Owen].

She is survived by: her sons, Craig [Jan], Kent [Denise], Val [Valerie] and Robert [Teri]. She is also survived by her 19 grandchildren and 57 great and great great grandchildren.
