He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Perkes and Rhoda Perkes; his former wife Jeannette McAffee; and his daughter Pamela. He is survived by: his former spouse Camille Thurston; his wife Kathy Heaps; his children, Peggy Balls (LeRoy), Eva Carpenter (Sid), Kevin McAfee, David Perkes (Cindy) and Brett Perkes (Lana); and his brother Larry Udell Perkes. He is also survived by 7 children, 30 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
