He was predeceased by: his parents, Genevieve Russel and Julius Cox; his son Elliot Lamar Cox; and his siblings, Bill Regland, Delaine Cox, Lois Spendlove, Marlene Martinez, Dixie Roberts, Kola Whittwer, Lawana Hiatt and Joan Hafen.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Bowers Cox; his children, Kelli Andersen (Clinton) of Pinedale, WY, JoVon Iverson (Brandon) of Lancaster, PA and Devin Cox of Pinedale, WY; his sister Sharon Hunt; and his brothers-in-law, Don Hafen and Don DeMille (Linda). He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren and their spouses, 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to pay their respects are welcome to donate to the Southern Utah Veterans Home.
