He was predeceased by : his spouse De Davidson; his parents, Clara Schoonover and Jay Schoonover; his brothers, John and Bob; his son Troy Schoonover; and his stepson Steve Davidson.

He is survived by : his former life partner Sandy Williams; his children, Seth Schoonover (Laura) and Hope Schoonover; his stepdaughter Cyd Davidson; his daughter-in-law Heather; his pet Schunka; and his close friends, Danny and Mary Ann. He is also survived by wife, and his 8 grandchildren, many loving nieces, and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Star Valley United Church (606 N Main St, Thayne, WY 83127).

In lieu of flowers De has asked that memorials be given to Star Valley United Church, Thayne Wyo or Lucky's Place also in Thayne Wyo.
