He was predeceased by: his father Walter Thane Ellis; and his grandparents, Genevieve Ratcliffe and Grandpa Ellis (Grandma Ellis). He is survived by: his mother Josilyn Ratcliffe; his wife Debra L Ellis; his daughters, Crystal Ellis (Jared Weeks), Candess Watts (Jason), Chalynn Akre (Cody) and Chardai Muir (Randy); his stepchildren, Jill Fiske (Gary), Kira Blanch (Lynn) and Braden Neilson; his stepgrandson Oliver Neilson; his sister JoDeane Ellis; his grandchildren, Aspen Bell, Charlie Muir, Ridgley Muir, Jude Neilson, Kreek Muir, Taft Muir, Wynn Watts and Lachlyn Akre; and his caregiver Jennifer.
Flowers and condolences can be sent to Premier Mortuary or a donation can be made to the Thane Ellis and Son memorial fund, that is used to procure multiple buckles for the best groomed teams for the America Chariot Racing Association, something our family hold close to our hearts.
