It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sylvia Carter of Roy, Utah, who passed away on March 9, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Sylvia leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Sylvia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Vaughn Carter and Mary Ellen Stephens Carter; her sister Mary; and her nephew Kevin Carter. She is survived by: her siblings, Stephen Carter St (Lorraine), Dale Carter (Debbie), Charmain Green (Tim), Alicia Baxter (Steve) and Miriam Sheffield Kaysville (Craig).
Viewing was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Leavitt's Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park (836 36th St, Ogden, UT 84403). A graveside service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
