He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ralph and Elsie Nichols Player; his sisters, Donna and Zola; and his son Anthony.
He is survived by: his children, Shawn (Diana) and Andrea (Adrian); his daughter-in-law Jennifer; and his grandsons, Ethan, Keaton and Liam.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to The Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Research Center (ADRC) at Utah State University.
