She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lawrence and LaVona Garn Carter; her husband Roger Maisak; her siblings, Doris Maisak, Ralph Carter, Marian Anderson and Joanne Greer; her siblings-in-law, Vern Maisak and Janet Carter; her son-in-law Larry Samples; and her great grandchildren, Sarah Hart, Zachary Hart and Josef Von Niederhausern.
She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Samples, Michael Maisak (Denise) and Janet Brown (Kyle). She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, her 38 great-grandchildren and her 8 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Myers Mortuary - Roy (5865 S 1900 W, Roy, UT 84067). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 12:20 PM at the Riverview Cemetery (175 E 1200 S, Elwood, UT 84337).
