He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Navanick, Sr. and Genevieve Williams Navanick Alhandra; his granddaughter Kira Ignacio; his siblings, Ernest Navanick, Mary Louise Lopez, Barbara Nephi, Michael Lee Navanick, Pat Navanick, Miranda Navanick and Ronald Navanick; his nephews, Carl Navanick, Mario Tom, Juan Appawoo, Dennis Navanick and Monte Horrocks; his brother-in-law Darrell LaRose; his father-in-law Anthony Lavadour; and his son-in-law Matthew James.

He is survived by: his wife Cheron Grant of Yellowstone Subdivision; his children, Lori Ann, Wendy Kim, Chasity (Roosevelt), Ty (Indian Bench), Brandy (Roosevelt), Joe (Sylvia Sandoval), Wendellena (Roosevelt), Ace (Phoenix), Wendell Jr. (Vernal), Isaac (Sarah), Tonya (Rangely) and Misty (Roosevelt); and his sisters, Patsy LaRose, Yolanda Nunez and Paulette Navanick. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
