He is survived by: his children, Tommy Nye (Tera), Jeffrey Shane Nye, Tawnya Fowler (Frank) and Kara Maxfield (Cody); his wife Freddie Nye; his sisters, Jessie Shirk, Shirlene Richardson, Mary Sweat (Wesley) and Susan Kovick (Martin); and his sister-in-law Kay Geddes. He is also survived by 4 children, 14 grandchildren, and 13. 5 great-grandchildren.
