She was predeceased by: her parents, Senor F. Mortensen and Mattie Moon Mortensen; her husband Paul Richard Ward; and her sister Ellen Virginia Nielsen. She is survived by: her children, Paul "Rick" Ward Jr., Elizabeth Hoschouer (Ben) and Roosevelt; and her siblings, Senor Jr., Keith Mortensen (Sharon) and Mary Lee Stevens of Texas. She is also survived by grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
