She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Barney and Alice McGuire; her husband Tal Bird; her son Gordon; and her siblings, Verl Murphy, Delale Murphy, Lorraine McCoy and Dorothy Richens.
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Murphy; her children, Donald Bird (Jackie), Christine McElhaney (Randy) and Althea Hardman (Ray); her brother Rupert Murphy (Wanda); and her sister-in-law Georgia Murphy. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren.
