With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Laverne Johnson Slaugh of Roosevelt, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bleak and Irene Bleak; her son Nate Nazer; and her former spouse Glenn B Johnson. She is survived by: her siblings, Arthur, Floyd, Jimmy and Joann; her former spouse Glen L Nazer; her husband Ralph Slaugh; and her grandchildren, Jaime Johnson, Bryan Poindexter, Adrienne Nelson, Sean Nazer, David Nazer, Scott Nazer, Andrea Tapia, Rebecca Tolman, Mitchell Nazer, Megan Bagley and Katie Nazer. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Roosevelt East Stake Center. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
