She was predeceased by: her parents, Reid Smoot and Marie Carolyn Cuch Taveapont; and her siblings, Clifford Cornpeach, Aaron Lee Cornpeach, Eleanor Cornpeach, Pansy Nephi, Sandra Taveapont, Venita Taveapont, Lola Summers, Eldora Bush, Lynette Grant and Floradeena Taveapont.
She is survived by: her daughter Annie Taveapont (Daniel Martinez); her granddaughters, Vanessa and Brooklyn Powell; and her siblings, Berdeena Ann Taveapont and Franklin Taveapont, Sr.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
