He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Carrell and Winnifred Williams Carrell; his wife June; his sisters, Monteze Cant and Berniece Thacker; his great grandchild Bronx Young; and his grandson Brendan Kent Jaramillo.

He is survived by: his children, Bobby K. Carrell (Nancy), Marilyn Snow (Norman), Paul R. Carrell (Denise) and Patsy Jaramillo (Val); and his brother-in-law Fay Rogers. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren.
