He was predeceased by: his parents, Sinclair Nye and Gladys Mizell Nye; his children, Ronnie Sr., Carrie and Leslie Nye; and his siblings, Henry, Lester, Sally, Joe and Donna.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Almany, Johnny Nye, Jr., Holly Sorensen, Joey Nye and Matthew; his siblings, Billy, Charles, Fred and Debbie Nye; and his grandchildren, Ronnie Jr., Joey, Tein, Tayven, Khloe, Bostyn, Journi, Bash, Jennifer, Danielle Woods, Ashley, Ryan, Bradley, Travis and Kyle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
