He was predeceased by: his brother Charley Chapoose; and his grandparents, Robert Chapoose Sr., Constance "Connie" Chapoose, Mike Mescale and Cecilia J Mescale.
He is survived by: his children, Layla Marlene Annalynn Chapoose, Yellowstone Subdivision and Samuel Leelou Deso Chapoose; his siblings, Curtis Chapoose (Jamie) of Fort Duchesne, UT, Leland Chapoose of Ballard, UT, Lynnise Chapoose of Yellowstone Subdivision, Ciana Chapoose of Yellowstone Subdivision, Robin Chapoose of Eaglebutte, SD and Tatum DeGarmo of Fort Hall, ID; his parents, Robert Chapoose Jr. (Vodne) and Bernice Mescale (John) of Sprague, WA; his aunt Celia Ann Mescale; and his cousins, Roxanne Marion, Georgette Mescale, Michelle Mescale and Lyndell Toledo. He is also survived by 6 nephews, 3 nieces, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
