He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Barton and Opal Mower Barton; his daughters, Donna Lisa Barton and Ann Checora; and his grandson Alex Calhoun.
He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Cindy Barton, John Barton (Patricia), Lloyd Barton (Kalynn), David Barton (Judy), Sabra Cunningham (James) and Katy Sayler (Corey); his sister Edlin Monk (Duane); and his sister-in-law Nancy Hansen. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
