He was predeceased by: his parents, George Grant and Diane Stewart Farrer; his wife Zannie Engavo; and his brothers, Brent and Allen.
He is survived by: his former wife Janice Mitchell; his children, Neil Farrer (Amanda) of Casper, WY, Kerry Farrer (Roosevelt), Tony Farrer (Price) and Kaycee Farrer (Roosevelt); and his siblings, Bill Farrer (JoAnn) of Orangeville, UT and Sandra Brown (Larry). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.
