He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Ira and Venice Manwaring Bascom. He is survived by: his wife Leatrice Bae Bascom; his children, Cami King, Brent Bascom (Kelly) and Nathan Bascom (Rachele); his stepdaughters, Nicole Eversole (Russ) and Jamie Lopez (Jay); and his siblings, Wilda Tanner (Norman), Glen Bascom (Louise) and Kent Bascom (Nancy). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
She cared for him for many years as he suffered from the effects of Parkinson's Disease.
