He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill B. Colton and Edith Hancock Colton; his parents-in-law, Harlow and Merlyn Farnsworth; and his brother Darwin Colton.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Byron James and Trenton Harlow; his wife Nancy Farnsworth; his siblings, Boyd Colton (Jackie), Gregory Colton (Ilene) and Marilyn Masapust (Bill); and his grandchildren, Caroline Colton, Tyson Colton (Lindsey), Megan Colton, Kenadi Garner (Christian), Jacob Colton, Jaron Colton and Elie Colton.
