He was predeceased by: his wife Patsy; his son Randy; his parents, Thomas Edward and Jewell Rhodes; and his siblings, Bobby McAnally, Gene Rhodes, Mayrene Bailey, Josephine Warren, Maureen Campbell, Patricia Ann Scott and Evelyn Rhodes Heavener.

He is survived by: his children, Charles Rhodes and Kendra Rhodes Walton (Eric); his grandchildren, Kaden, Kole, Dustin, Michele, Veronica, Nicholas and Adrian; and his great grandchildren, Aydn, Kadence, Mason, Jocelyn and Madelyn.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to a scholarship fund being established in Dusty's memory.
