He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Harold Berrett and Stella Wright; his brothers, Emery, Melvin, Lamar and Don; his wife Gloria Hutchings; his children, Norene Slack (Tom), Craig Berrett (Marilyn), Rene Kump (late Clyde), Brad Berrett (Fawn) and Suzanne Tran (John); and also, Afton and Yvonne. He was also cherished by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
