He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Orlando and Lucille Hensen Bodell; and his siblings, Connie Rae Bodell, Darla Cressall (Terry) and Chad Hensen Bodell.
He is survived by: his children, Dana Lind Swensen, Jana Rae Davenport (David), Braden F Bodell (Jennifer) and Blake R Bodell (Janean); his siblings, Shirlee Lund, John and Eileen Bodell; and his former wife Gayla Butterfield Brinkerhoff (Randy). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
