He was predeceased by: his parents, William Grossarth Jr. and Ruby Maye Hardesty; his wife Ellen Grossarth; and his brothers, Galen Grossarth and Nathan Grossarth.

He is survived by: his children, Scott Grossarth (Wendy) of Herriman, UT, Lance Grossarth (Heather) of Idaho Falls, ID, Lauri Grossarth of Riverton, UT, Shari Grossarth of Riverton, UT and Kevin Grossarth (Jeanne) of Alpharetta, GA; and his siblings, Vernon Grossarth and Gloria Kendrick. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
