He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert T. Van Dam Sr. and Elaine Van Dam; his siblings, Stephen, Scott Van Dam and Vicki Hodges; his son Troy Van Dam; and his grandson Chase Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; and his children, Traci (Greg Turner), Robert (Trent), Tiffany Van Dam and Tralynn (Jon Hanks).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bluffdale LDS Chapel (14400 S Redwood Road, Bluffdale, UT 84065). A burial was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at the Bluffdale Cemetery (14205 1700 W, Bluffdale, UT 84065).
