He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester John Dalene and Jeannette Subeth Campbell; his brothers, Edward Dalene, Daniel and William Dalene; and his children-in-law, Brett Aikele and Holly Mayberry Dalene.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Dalene; his children, Ron Dalene (Joyce), Jack Dalene (Barbara), Susan Aikele Hampton and Debbie McDonald (Peter); and his foster daughter Marci Clarke. He is also survived by his 18 grandchildren, and his 35 great-grandchildren.
