He is survived by: his wife Barbara Clark; his children, Burton Clark (Jeanette), Diane McLean (Steve), David Clark (Crystal), Laura Westberg (Les), Bill Clark (Myrna), Christine Mickelsen (Brian), Jeannette Shaw (Clark), Howard Clark (Trina), Catherine Hammond (Gabe), Richard Clark (Sarah), Mary Davies, Justin Clark, Jonathan Clark and Eldon Clark (Pilar); his siblings, Florence Smith, Merrilynn Jensen (Carl), Gary Clark (Judy), John Clark (Tami), Jerel Clark, James Clark (Jennette) and Jay Clark (Lynda); and his brothers-in-law, Glenn Eames, Jack Lambson and Dale Fitzgerald.

His contributions to science and the medical field prevented many other families from going through the grief and loss he experienced first hand after losing his 3rd child, Douglas, born 5 weeks premature.
