She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Nelson Van Ness Thomas and Cora May Fallows; her husband Richard Brecht; her siblings, Nelson Thomas and Coralee Baker; her children, Jen, Richard, Jeffrey and Julie; her grandchildren, Aaron, Alex, Alexus, Abbi, Ty, Holden, Gavin, Kayden, Carly, Lauren, Maddie, Brooke and Kylie; and her great grandchildren, Mia and Ava.
When Richard developed Alzheimer's she dedicated her life to caring for him and became his advocate.
