Jay LaVar Grygla Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jay LaVar Grygla of Riverton, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 19, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jay LaVar Grygla to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Eugene and Clara Gee; his siblings, Kenneth, Maurine (Dean), Shirley (Leonard), Norman Lee and Lester Frank (Joann); and his grandson Brakon.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shelly Stevens (Randy), Wendy Mortenson (Tom), Kristin McCoy (Jason) and Jennifer Orlandi (Alan); his wife JoAnn Worthington; and his siblings, Robert (Linda), Glen (Carolyn), Joyce (Jerry) and Kent (Lisa). He is also survived by four daughters, 15 amazing grandchildren and 21 adorable great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Riverton Farms Chapel (12852 S 3200 W, Riverton, UT 84065). A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Riverton City Cemetery (13200 S 1500 W, Riverton, UT 84065).
