He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Richards Barton and Eva Nadine Bushman; his wife Becky Gunn; his children, Emily Stout (Steve), Jimmy Barton (Marriette), Stephanie Tueller (Tony), Jeremy Barton (Heidi), Jeff Barton (Hailey), Julie Carrell (Scott), Jake Amundsen (Lindsey) and Staci Shields (Marc); and his siblings, Marilee Clark (Joe), Beverly Glazier (Dave), Jayne Call (Tom) and Steve Barton (Michelle). He was also cherished by 35 beautiful grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations made be made in Jim's memory to any worthy charity or philanthropic cause.
