It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Joseph Krattley of Riverton, Utah, born in Stillwater, Minnesota, who passed away on July 27, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fabian Sebastian Krattley and Alice Marie Montbriand; his brothers, Robert, Thomas and Roger Krattley; and his parents-in-law, Vivian Smith Titel (Burton) and John D. Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Marie Smith; his children, Douglas, Jr., Joseph and Karri of Riverton, Utah; his brother Barney Krattley (Mary) of Somerset, Wisconsin; his cousin David Montbriand (Dyan) of New Richmond, Wisconsin; his friend Don Hastings of Pleasant Grove, Utah.; and his pet Oglethorpe. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

“We will never forget Doug!!!!!!! What an incredible spunky and loving man!!!! He never shared the same story but always had plenty to tell. (We never got board). He was totally dedicated to you all and to each of us. With his eagle eye we always felt him watching over us and our home.
