He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Gilbert and Johanna Sofia Margaret Szybrowsky; his wife Shirley; and his great grandchild Hope Gilbert. He is survived by: his children, Dan Gilbert (Debbie) of Blackfoot, Richard Gilbert (Carla) of Jerome, Debra Bingham (Dean) of Jerome, Wendy Porter (Delyn) of Blackfoot and Doug Gilbert (Glenna) of Jerome. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 57 great grandchildren.
