He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Ricks and Katherine Ricks; his spouse Pauline Cora Vander Werff; and his children, Dale Allen Ricks (Robbie), Dean Ray Ricks, Yvonne Michelle Petty (Kenneth), Glen Reid Ricks, Gary Kent Ricks (Amy), Pamela Rae Ricks, Kimberly Johnson (Glenn) and Kelly John Ricks (Amy). He was also cherished by 48 grandchildren and 68 great grandchildren.
