She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Wald and Ida Bernhardt Wald; her husband Jim Johnstun (Jim); her siblings, Martin Wald, Felix Wald, Anton Jr. Wald and Benedicta Scherr; her daughter Kim Johnstun; her grandsons, Josh Ludwig and Ben Kubik; and her great grandchild Branson Smith.
She is survived by: her sister Marie Kaikini; her sisters-in-law, Ruth Saunders, Shirleen Johnstun and Elaine Wald; and her children, Kelly Butterfield (Jay), Kristy Holmes (Phil), Tony Johnstun and Bob Johnstun (Ken). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
